In partnership with the State of Colorado, VEC is hosting regular Covid-19 vaccination clinics.

Coming soon: VEC is also proud to launch the Vaccine Equity Fund to provide financial incentives to qualified individuals, significantly raising local vaccination rates.

Since January of 2023 Village Exchange is proud to have administered over 8,812 Total Vaccines; 7,829 COVID-19 Shots & 983 FLU Shots, providing over $881, 200 of cash in incentives to our community.

Because Village Exchange Center has established a foundation of trust with residents in the Northwest Aurora neighborhoods, VEC’s clinics are serving the most vulnerable and hard-to-reach populations, with 79% of the doses going to Hispanic or Latinos, 4% to Black or African American, and 3.5% to Asian or Pacific Islander.

Our clinics have been held at different sites including: The Village Exchange Center, The Mexican Consulate, Amigos de Mexico, Aurora Public School District, Curtis Park, Englewood Recreation Center, Aurora Community Connection, Aurora Economic Opportunity Coalition

Vaccine Equity Fund

In August of 2021, VEC launched a Vaccine Equity Fund pilot to provide $250 to BIPOC Adams County residents who get a Vaccine at our Governor’s Equity Clinic.
